Made the Haldimand Press!

Fishing, fishing, fishing....

I have been keeping busy with fishing as the flying has been slow, and novel number two is giving me some grief.  Big tarpon and crevalle jacks and kingfish and barracuda off Trinidad's shore, and cod and mackerel, trout and bass back in and offshore Nova Scotia....

Buy my novel folks, it's awesome!

Good story written by someone who has been there, done that. As a retired pilot
I can vouch for the authenticity. Recommended.

Ripped through this in one afternoon on a no fly day. Only wished it was a longer
and had a bit more about the actual offshore flying bit. Would recommend!

C. MacLean

4.0 out of 5 starsI thoroughly enjoyed the debut novel

February 5, 2018

Format: Kindle Edition

I thoroughly enjoyed the debut novel, The Helicopter Pilot, by Darcy Hoover.

Set amongst the beauty and strife of Africa, the characters soon discover who
they are when their former beliefs are stripped away – leaving them raw to
both themselves and their environment.

Visiting Africa and walking around in the well-developed character’s shoes, left me
to ponder the essential things in life – and to question what is happiness after all.

I look forward to reading more from this author.

Darcy's ability at sketch and colour people and places is certainly up
there with some your very good novelists.
